Description
1955 – SALVADOR DALÍ 52 YEARS OLD
Dalí continued with his life in Cadaqués. He kept working with his new style of mystical Art from his studio in Portlligat. His obsession with time had already been reflected in his soft watches. At this time, he had Charles Hevitt portray him with one of his clocks from the Portlligat hut. Surely the artist felt that half of his life had already passed before him and he must have wanted to reflect that in these scenes. The artist took advantage of any idea to keep his reputation intact, cementing his status as a first-rate media star.
